A guide to getting the most from eero Secure, with advanced security features to help keep your whole family safer online.
Use Profiles to set age-appropriate Content Filters, which block inappropriate content and create a safe online environment for your kids.
From the Home tab, tap on the module under Security & privacy.
Select on 'Network Controls'.
Select 'Content filters'.
Select the profile for which you want to set up Content Filters.
Tap the desired filter template.
Review options and tap 'Apply'.
Toggle on/off individual content filter categories as desired.
Get Active threat protection and protect your family from accidentally visiting unknown sites that could lead to phishing attacks and viruses.
From the Home tab, tap on the module under Security & privacy that says 'Advanced Security'.
Tap on 'Network Controls'.

Help prevent certain websites from displaying on certain family members’ devices.
From the Home tab, tap on the module under Security & privacy.
Select on 'Network Controls'.
Select 'Block & allow sites'.
Tap on 'Add Blocked Site'
Enter the URL of the website you wish to block and select the profile associated with the blocked site.
Tap on 'Add Blocked Site'. Tap 'Done' to finish.

From the Home tab, tap on the module under Security & privacy that says 'Ad Blocking'.
Tap on 'Network Controls'.
Toggle on 'Ad blocking'.
Be in control of your family’s online experience with app blocking.
From the Home tab, tap on the module under Security & privacy.
Select on 'Network Controls'.
Select 'Block apps'.
Select the profile for which you want to Block Apps.
Select the apps that you want to block. Tap 'Done' to finish.

From the Activity tab, tap on the 'Scans' or 'Threats Blocked'.
Navigate between Day, Week, and Month tabs. Click on a particular devices to view more details. Tap on the blue arrow in the top left to go back.
Use Internet Backup to keep your connected home devices, security devices and smart appliances online even when internet outages occur.
From the Home tab, tap on the module under Security & privacy that says 'Internet Backup'.
Tap on 'eero Internet Backup'.
Toggle on 'eero Internet Backup' to turn on.
Tap on 'Add a Backup Network'.
Select your network from the list and enter your password.
