Trusted by over 170,000 customers, Gigaclear delivers fast, reliable full-fibre broadband to rural communities, transforming how people live and work.

Bringing Ultrafast Broadband to Rural UK

Gigaclear is working with the UK government, with support from Oxfordshire County Council, to provide ultrafast full fibre broadband to over 10,000 rural homes and businesses.

Project Gigabit Explained

Project Gigabit is the UK government’s rollout of fast, reliable broadband across the UK. The programme targets homes and businesses that are not included in broadband companies’ commercial plans, reaching parts of the country that would otherwise miss out.

Project Gigabit is essential to achieving the governments mission to kickstart economic growth.

Driving Growth with Gigabit Speeds

Improved digital infrastructure will help deliver better-paid jobs, boost productivity and create wealth and opportunity right across the country.

It means no more battling over bandwidth for rural homes stuck on aging copper networks. Gigabit broadband can easily handle over a hundred devices all at once with no buffering, meaning the whole family can seamlessly surf, stream and download at the same time.
