Important: Only proceed to setup additional WiFi nodes once the Gigaclear powered by Linksys primary router has been setup successfully and you are connected to the internet. You can learn how to Setup your Gigaclear powered by Linksys router here.

Using the Linksys App

  1. Open the Linksys App
  2. Select ‘Set Up a New Product’ from the menu
  3. Follow the Set Up Wizard

Manual setup

  1. Plug in the additional WiFi node into a power point within a few metres of the primary Gigaclear powered by Linksys router and turn it on.  Wait for the flashing BLUE LED to turn solid PURPLE.
  2. Turn over the primary router to find the small red RESET button on the underside. Orientate the device so that you can see the LED on top whilst you press the button. Press the RESET button five times in quick succession. You will notice the LED flash first RED, then WHITE and then start flashing BLUE. Put the primary router back down.
  3. After 2 minutes the primary router LED turns SOLID BLUE again and the additional WiFi node will start to FLASH RED. This means it is receiving its instructions from the primary router. This process takes about 2-3 minutes to complete. It is complete when the WiFi nodes’ LED turns SOLID BLUE for at least 30 seconds.
  4. The mesh has completed. You may now turn off the additional WiFi node and position  it halfway between the primary Gigaclear powered by Linksys router and the WiFi dead spot in your home, typically not more than approximately 10metres from the primary router. Power it on and wait for the LED to turn SOLID BLUE.
